The chamber heater offers an additional chamber temperature heating control feature, with a max chamber temperature of 77℃. Higher chamber temperatures can reduce warping when printing high-temperature filaments and improve interlayer adhesion. Additionally, when printing with these high-temperature filaments, using the chamber heater can improve the print strength, particularly interlayer strength. For filaments such as PC, PA-CF, PAHT-CF, PET-CF, PPA-CF, PPS, and PPS-CF, setting the chamber temperature to 60°C can enhance dimensional accuracy and visual quality.

Manual Control

The chamber heatercanset start temperature and target temperature manually.

There are four buttons on the chamber heater, up, down, setting, and power.

The down button can be used to turn on and off the screen light, just press once.

The power button is used to turn on and off the fan.

The setting button is used to switch between the start temperature and target temperature.

To set temperatures, press the setting button, then press the up and down button to adjust. Once you done, press the setting button to switch to the target temperature, then adjust it. Wait a few seconds, the chamber will heater confirms the settings automatically. Then press the power button to start. Once the temperature sensor detects the target temperature, it will stop automatically.

Chamber Heater Power:

The power wires connected to the printer's power, to the AC L, and AC N.

Installation

The thermistor is fixed with zip tie in the chamber.

99℃ Heat Resistance Bambu ABS-GF Shell

The shell was 3D printed with Bambu Lab ABS-GF filaments to stand for high temperature print. Bambu ABS-GF is a glass fiber-reinforced ABS filament, enhanced in both mechanical and aesthetic properties. Compared with regular ABS, ABS-GF outperforms in strength, stiffness, temperature resistance and dimensional stability, while being less prone to deformation and warping. Glass fiber imparts a smooth matte finish with micro-spot gloss, blurring layer lines.

FAQ

Does this have a thermal fuse?

This chamber heater has built-in short-distance protection and does not require an additional fuse wire. All wires in the chamber heater are made of Teflon high-temperature resistance and can be heated at 600 degrees with confidence. The built-in electronic short-distance protection combined with the relay is much safer than ordinary fuse. There will be a problem with using fuse. It cannot be used for a long time at high temperatures. The thin wires in the fuse glass pipe will automatically break during long-term high temperatures.
